Construction is underway on $52 million cancer centre and research hub in Campbelltown

Cancer patients in South Western Sydney and the Southern Highlands will soon have access to the latest advancements in radiation oncology, medical oncology, and global clinical trials, with construction having commenced on a brand new, world-class, $52 million integrated cancer centre in Campbelltown.

The centre will consist of medical oncology and radiation oncology services, medical imaging, pathology, a clinical trials units and allied health services. 

There will be more than 750 local sub-contractors employed during the construction period of the project, and once open, the service will create 60 long-term healthcare jobs. The cancer centre will have the capacity to deliver more than 30,000 treatments annually.
